Cognitive search is an important piece of the evolution of the TWC Ask Watson experience. Because of the immense set of weather data, editorial content, and educational content from The Weather Channel, it was important to have a strategy in place to guide how that content manifested in the TWC product experience in a variety of search scenarios. The most challenging aspect of the project was the Watson piece - answering the question of "when does Watson provide the most logical value to the user?"

 

This strategy was the basis for the voice search strategy.

I worked with the content strategist and product manager to develop the UX strategy to guide our cognitive search development partner.
