The Weather Channel alert system is powerful enough to deliver real-time active weather alerts for any location on the planet. Users that subscribe to TWC app alerts are more engaged users, but many people are unsure about the benefits of being an alert subscriber. Weather Glance provided the opportunity for users to experience the benefit of alerts in context, by showing active weather notifications for their saved locations, along with a method for one-tap subscription.
Alerts subscriptions for users with saved locations increased by 17% for Android users, and 15% for iOS users.
